In this, the 180th episode Kris and yours truly, the Supreme Irreverend Doctor Randy, are joined by actor John de Lancie. Most of our listeners will know John as the smug omnipotent Q from Star Trek The Next Generation; he’s acted in many films including “The Fisher King” and “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” and television series besides Star Trek such as “LA Law” and “Breaking Bad”. I instantly recognized his voice in two installments of Assassin’s Creed. But many listeners probably don’t know the humanist side of John, who was awarded the American Humanists Association Arts Award for 2016.
In this installment we present another one of Kris’ fantastic interviews from the American Humanist Association conference in New Orleans earlier this year. Kris discussed humanism with the Harvard Humanists (http://harvardhumanist NULL.org/). Participating in the discussion were Sarah Chandonnet, James Croft, Chris Stedman and Greg Epstein.
